GERBER SCIENTIFIC DRAFTING MACHINES MicroCare was incorporated in 1990 to provide high quality nationwide on-site hardware maintenance on Gerber Scientific large format (up to 6' x 24') flatbed pen plotters. With administrative headquarters located in Simi Valley, CA, and a national repair depot and demo center in Wichita, KS, MicroCare continues to provide field service, parts, technical support, upgrades, and Azon drafting mylar for this product line currently supporting Gerber plotter users from California to Connecticut. The MicroCare Model DPC-2 PC-based Controller was developed in 1995 to replace the original Gerber controllers provided with the Model 77 and the Model 78 plotters providing users with a state of the art product that can be operated as stand alone or interfaced directly to a user host or network. MicroCare also sells, installs, and relocates Gerber plotters.

AIT ULTRASONIC COMPOSITE SCANNING SYSTEMS MicroCare acquired the proprietary rights to the ultrasonic scanning systems manufactured or supported by Automated Inspection Technologies in 1995 further diversifying MicroCare's product line and providing the opportunity to expand internationally supporting equipment in Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. AIT and its predecessor companies (Automation Industries and Sperry Automation) produced automated nondestructive testing equipment for the aerospace industry. MicroCare offers field service, parts sales, technical support, and upgrades for all AIT equipment including the ATLAS data acquisition and analysis system and the MIDUS motion controller .
